The cover of Crimson Plague Issue #2 |
A page from Issue #2. George's visual storytelling is amazing, isn't it? ...

Two sides of the same story ... |
... up to here. |

The Windy City Convention alternate cover of Issue #1 |
One of the promotional prints Dina and I would hawk for charity at the conventions. These gave me my first experience with signing autographs! |
Yeah, this one sold pretty well. And yes, that really was my tattoo (which has since evolved). |
George decided to use us as his Christmas card one year. This is the original artwork. |
Conventions |
Manning the booth at Dragon Con in Atlanta, 1999. I hadn't even thought about being an actor yet. |
George hard at work sketching an order from his long, long list of sketch orders (and all for charity!) |
And he's still sketching. (What he doesn't finish before the convention closes for the evening, he will take to his room and finish for tomorrow morning. The most dedicated man I know.) |
My first try at playing vamp (not easy in green spandex). |
Oops, guess I chose the dark side (alas, we gals so often do). |
Miscellaneous |
Since the comic was discontinued, I'm pretty sure I will NEVER get my copy of this statue. Color me jealous. Dina got hers, darn it all! |
To this day, I have never had to wear a costume as surreal as this one. Carol Flynn (George's wife) was the brilliant creator of my ensemble, with some help from Tom Snyder. |
Dina, George and I. Our one professional photo shoot, with George in one of his trademark shirts made by Carol. |
