Blessed to meet some boxing legends in this production, I had a great time as the MC and "ring card girl" (no bikinis involved, heh). This was a multi-media production, with appearances by some amazing boxers and sports commentators, culminating in the main event, the play "Kid Shamrock", about Bobby Cassidy, top-middleweight pro who from 1963 -1980. Written by his son, Bobby Cassidy, Jr., the play focuses more on Bobby's personal battles and how those, in turn, affected his career. Combined with the amazing multi-media piece created by Bobby's other son, Chris Cassidy, I can say I felt truly honored to be a part of this production.
